Extensions
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
Long red-brick terraces where the return at the back is the extension everybody wants altered, councils that run planning as well as building control, and no party wall notice to serve because that law stops at the water.
Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

The awkward bits
Most builders here have nothing but a Facebook page
Which is the whole opportunity. Facebook will not hold your sequence of works, your photographs of a job half built or your area anywhere a search engine can read them. Keep posting the finished jobs. Put the things a homeowner checks before ringing on a page.
Customers do not know what needs permission
So the page tells them. What is normally permitted development on a terrace return, what the council wants to see, how long it usually takes. The builder who answers that first is the one the homeowner rings, because he has already saved them a phone call to the council.
Everybody wants the return at the back opened up
Which is the most repeatable page you will ever have. The return on a kitchen house is a known shape with a known set of surprises in it, and a page that walks through one from survey to handover gets read by every second owner on the street.
People here want to know who you are first
And a website is where that gets answered before anyone has to ask. Your own photographs, your registration numbers, the streets you work and a plain account of how you price. It is the conversation you would have on the phone anyway, written down once so it happens first.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.
Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.
The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.
Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.
The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.
Do you have drawings yet?
It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
BT1 to BT17 are the Belfast post town and locals give directions by side rather than by number — east is BT4, BT5 and BT6, south BT7, BT8 and BT9, west BT11, BT12 and BT13, north BT14 and BT15. An enquiry form that asks only for a town collects neither.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Belfast and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.
