Builder website design in Coventry

A city rebuilt in one go after the war, so the housing is a generation newer and more predictable than anywhere around it, and the extension a Coventry homeowner wants is nearly always the same three shapes.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

Seven CV districts, twenty-seven named areas, twelve towns

Places your site can be built to cover, never a list of builder jobs anyone has done in them.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

Is a market this size worth writing for?

Seven districts is a patch one firm can hold, which is not true of Birmingham. Fewer builders are writing for these terms, so a page put up this month keeps working next year. Small and uncontested beats big and crowded every time.

The same three jobs, over and over

Which makes them three pages, described so exactly that a homeowner recognises their own house. Single storey rear, garage conversion, loft. Name the sequence, name the weeks, name what happens to the kitchen. Repetition is an advantage on a website, not a limitation.

Where does the Coventry patch end?

At CV7 and CV8, and the page should be honest about it. CV7 runs through Bedworth, Keresley, Meriden and Balsall Common across three authorities, and CV8 is the Kenilworth post town. Kenilworth and Bedworth deserve their own pages and their own customers.

The Birmingham firms advertise into Coventry

They do, and they arrive an hour late. A page that says plainly you are twenty minutes away, and names Earlsdon, Cheylesmore, Tile Hill and Binley to prove it, beats a bigger firm's budget on the only thing the customer is actually deciding.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Extensions

The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.

Loft conversions

A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.

Renovations

Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.

Groundwork and foundations

The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.

Structural alterations

Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.

Garden rooms and garages

The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

Do you have drawings yet?

It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.

One thing about Coventry worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

CV7 alone spans several authorities — Exhall and Ash Green in Nuneaton and Bedworth, Keresley in Coventry, Meriden and Balsall Common in Solihull — which is why the northern and eastern edge is the awkward part of a Coventry coverage page.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Coventry and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for a builder?
Ours come in under the price of a coffee a day and you get the number on the first call. Across the market a template is a few hundred pounds and a written site is several thousand. Whoever you use, ask for the five year total including hosting and changes.
Why is my building company not showing on Google Maps?
Almost always no Google Business Profile, one that was never verified by post or video, a business name and address that does not match your site, or no reviews at all. Fix them in that order. All four are free and all four beat a redesign.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
