Extensions
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
Terraces where the extension has to go up between two neighbours who both need notice, and a Georgian Quarter where you cannot change the front of the building at all. The paperwork is half the job and none of your competitors mention it.
Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

The awkward bits
Party wall notices scare customers off
Not knowing about them scares customers off. Explain it in four sentences on the page — who serves it, when, what it costs, what happens if the neighbour objects — and you have removed the thing that makes homeowners stall for six months.
The lead sites already send me work
They send you enquiries that reached ten builders in the same second, and they cost more every year you get busier. Add last year's fees up against the jobs you actually won. Your own page produces enquiries nobody else received.
Is a Liverpool page enough for my patch?
It misses half of it. L21 to L23 are Sefton, L32, L33 and L36 Knowsley, L37 and L38 West Lancashire — all addressed to Liverpool, none of them searching for it. Crosby, Maghull and Huyton are three easy pages and three separate markets.
Every van round here says the same three words
Reliable, local, friendly — and so does every website. The way out is to say something checkable instead: which streets you work, what you do when the boards come up, what you will not take on. Specific is the only thing that is not also on the next firm's page.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.
Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.
The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.
Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.
The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.
Do you have drawings yet?
It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
L20 and L30 are BOOTLE, L34 and L35 are PRESCOT, L39 and L40 are ORMSKIRK. A coverage page that reads “L1 to L40” claims three towns that do not answer to that name.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Liverpool and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.
