Fault finding
Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. The fastest page you own.
Apartment blocks with a managing agent between you and the consumer unit, terraces with no off-street parking and no charger job in them, and a student belt that needs the same certificate every year at the same time.

The awkward bits
Flats are more trouble than they are worth
They are when they arrive unsorted. Ask for the building, the floor, whether the block has a managing agent and whether the supply is in the flat or in a riser. Half of the awkward ones stop at that question and the rest turn up already answered.
Everyone advertises here, I cannot outbid them
You are not bidding. Ads stop the day you stop paying; a page keeps working. Electrician Chorlton, EICR Levenshulme and consumer unit Didsbury are written once and still bringing calls next winter, and almost nobody is fighting you for them.
My patch is bigger than the city
Then name the towns. M5 to M7 are Salford and M33 is Sale, and a customer in Stretford does not read a Manchester page as being about them. Four town pages reach four sets of people the city page never touches.
Getting across Manchester takes an hour at the wrong time
So the page sells a radius rather than a city. Say which side you are on and which towns you will cross for, and the enquiries stop arriving from the far side of the ring road at four in the afternoon. A smaller stated patch answered fast beats a bigger one answered late.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. The fastest page you own.
Bought after an inspection and searched for by name.
A buyer with a deadline and a five year clock.
What happens to the house while you are in it.
High value, and a page most local firms have not written.
Seasonal, uncontested, and easy to be first for.
Is it a fault or a planned job?
Faults want a phone number; planned work wants photographs, and mixing the two wastes both.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
Several central districts straddle a boundary: M3 is Manchester and Salford, M15 and M16 Manchester and Trafford, M19 Manchester and Stockport, M23 Manchester and Trafford. A city-centre address can be billed under either authority depending on which side of the district it sits.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Manchester and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for electricians who do.
