Roofer website design in Leicester

Victorian terraces divided into flats, a very large rented sector, and landlords who ring three firms about the same slipped tile and take whoever can be there first. Being findable beats being clever here.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

Eight LE districts, seventeen named areas, eighteen towns

Places your site can be built to cover, never a list of roofer jobs anyone has done in them.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

Landlord work is all patching

It is, and it repeats and it is nobody's dream job. Keep it on its own page priced as a callout, then write the re-roof and flat roof pages for owners with photographs and a form. Two pages stop the cheap reader setting the price for the expensive one.

How do I get reviews when the customer never sees the roof?

Photograph it for them. A before and after off your own phone, sent the day you finish, with a one tap review link underneath. The reviews go on your Google listing, which is what decides whether you appear in the map results at all.

Eight postcodes does not leave much room

The room is outside them. LE2 reaches Oadby, LE3 Glenfield, LE4 Birstall and Thurmaston, LE7 as far as Syston and Rothley. Those towns search their own names and almost nobody has bothered writing for them.

Everything here is twenty minutes away, why say where I cover?

Because the customer does not know that. Somebody in Syston, Narborough or Rothley assumes a Leicester firm will not come out, and rings the man in their own village instead. Naming the towns is not about your driving, it is about their assumption.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Leak repairs

Searched at nine at night and converted within the hour.

Re-roofing

How long the house is open to the sky.

Flat roofing

Extensions, dormers and garages, and which material you use.

Chimneys and leadwork

The detail work that separates you from a general builder.

Guttering and fascias

Small, seasonal, and how the bigger jobs get noticed.

Roof surveys

Paid work that puts you up there before anyone commits.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

How many storeys, and is there scaffold access?

It decides whether the job is a ladder or a week of hire, and it belongs in the first message.

One thing about Leicester worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

Only LE1–LE7 and LE19 are addressed to LEICESTER. LE10 is Hinckley, LE11 and LE12 Loughborough, LE13 and LE14 Melton Mowbray, LE15 Oakham, LE16 Market Harborough, LE17 Lutterworth, LE18 Wigston, LE65 Ashby-de-la-Zouch and LE67 Coalville.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Leicester and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for roofers who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for a roofing company?
Under the price of a coffee a day with us, and the figure comes on the first call rather than at the end of a sales process. Across the market it runs from a few hundred to several thousand depending on how much is written from scratch. Get the five year total before signing.
Why does my roofing business not appear on Google Maps?
Four usual reasons: no Google Business Profile, an unverified one, a name and address that disagree with your website, or no reviews. Sort them in that order, for nothing, and you will see the map results move before the website has finished being built.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
