Roofer website design in Birmingham

Miles of 1930s semis with the original clay tiles and a shared valley between every pair, and Victorian terraces where the scaffold has to go up in front of somebody else's window. Access decides the price before the roof does.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

Places your site can be built to cover, never a list of roofer jobs anyone has done in them.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

Every quote I lose is lost on price

Because price is the only thing the customer can compare. Nobody can climb up and check your work. Twelve of your own photographs, a line about what you find in a shared valley on a pair of semis, and a plain account of the scaffold, and you are no longer three numbers on a page.

Storm work is feast or famine

It is, and it deserves its own page with its own call to action, because it converts in hours rather than in weeks. Keep it separate from the re-roof page. When the wind gets up in B23 and B44 you want a page already ranking, not one you write on the Monday.

Birmingham is too big to be found in

So do not chase it. Roof repair Kings Heath, roofer B29, flat roof Erdington. District terms bring somebody twenty minutes away and there are two or three firms in each of them, against several hundred fighting over the city's name.

Sutton Coldfield and Solihull are on my patch too

Then they are their own pages. Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, West Bromwich and Halesowen are separate post towns inside the same B letter, and nobody in any of them reads a page headed Birmingham as being about them. Four short pages beat one that claims everything.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Leak repairs

Searched at nine at night and converted within the hour.

Re-roofing

How long the house is open to the sky.

Flat roofing

Extensions, dormers and garages, and which material you use.

Chimneys and leadwork

The detail work that separates you from a general builder.

Guttering and fascias

Small, seasonal, and how the bigger jobs get noticed.

Roof surveys

Paid work that puts you up there before anyone commits.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

How many storeys, and is there scaffold access?

It decides whether the job is a ladder or a week of hire, and it belongs in the first message.

One thing about Birmingham worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

The B postcode area runs to 79 districts across fifteen post towns, and only B1–B21, B23–B38, B40 and B42–B45 are addressed to BIRMINGHAM. Sutton Coldfield (B72–B76), Solihull (B90–B94), West Bromwich (B70–B71) and Halesowen (B62–B63) are separate post towns inside the same letter.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Birmingham and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for roofers who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for a roofing company?
Under the price of a coffee a day with us, and the figure comes on the first call rather than at the end of a sales process. Across the market it runs from a few hundred to several thousand depending on how much is written from scratch. Get the five year total before signing.
Why does my roofing business not appear on Google Maps?
Four usual reasons: no Google Business Profile, an unverified one, a name and address that disagree with your website, or no reviews. Sort them in that order, for nothing, and you will see the map results move before the website has finished being built.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
