Fault finding
Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. The fastest page you own.
Rewiring a flat inside a common stair, a close light that four owners share, and a factor who has to agree before the common parts are touched. The page that explains that gets rung before the page that says reliable and friendly.

The awkward bits
Common parts jobs are more argument than work
So answer the argument on the page. Who normally pays, what the factor needs before you can start, and how long agreement usually takes. One paragraph, and the calls arrive with the hard part already settled. Almost no electrician in the city has written it.
Nobody types G12, they say the west end
So the page says Hyndland, Partick, Shawlands and Dennistoun first, and the G numbers sit underneath for the quote. The numbers still carry the old compass codes and people still give directions by them, which is why an area-led page gets found and a numbers-led one does not.
Are the Scottish inspection rules worth a page?
For landlords, yes. It is a five year clock on every let and the person searching for it is looking for somebody who already knows the interval. Answer it plainly and the enquiry comes from a landlord with a portfolio rather than from somebody price-checking one flat.
My yard is outside the city
It means nothing to a search and a great deal to a customer who assumes it does. Say the areas you actually reach and how long you take to get there, and where the van is parked stops being a question. Nobody has ever chosen a firm on the location of its yard.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. The fastest page you own.
Bought after an inspection and searched for by name.
A buyer with a deadline and a five year clock.
What happens to the house while you are in it.
High value, and a page most local firms have not written.
Seasonal, uncontested, and easy to be first for.
Is it a fault or a planned job?
Faults want a phone number; planned work wants photographs, and mixing the two wastes both.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
The G numbers still carry the compass codes they replaced — G11 was W1, G20 was NW, G31 was E1, G40 was SE, G41 was S1 — and Glaswegians still give directions as the west end or the south side rather than as a number. A coverage page here needs both.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Glasgow and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for electricians who do.
