Emergency callouts
Tap to ring, top of the screen, nothing in front of it.
You are quoting across forty-two B districts and turning out to maybe six of them at midnight. A website that cannot tell a customer which is which sends you to Kingstanding for a job you would never have taken.
Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

The awkward bits
There are already twenty plumbers in Birmingham with websites
There are, and almost all of them are one page saying they are reliable. None of them says what happens when a 1930s semi in Great Barr has a leak under a floor that was screeded over in 1998. Write the thing only somebody who has done it would write, and the comparison stops being about who has a website.
Emergency work finds me anyway, it is the bathrooms I want
Then the bathroom page has to do the opposite job from the emergency one. No tap-to-ring button at the top: a form that asks for room size, access, whether the house is occupied and two photographs, because a bathroom you price badly costs you a fortnight. Two pages, two different readers, one site.
What would I even rank for in a city this size?
Not plumber Birmingham. Emergency plumber Kings Heath, boiler repair B14, burst pipe Erdington — the suburb searches, where the competition is one bloke with a Facebook page. Six of those bring more work than one page fighting the whole city, and you can hold them.
Sutton Coldfield and Solihull are on my patch too
Then they are their own pages. Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, West Bromwich and Halesowen are separate post towns inside the same B letter, and nobody in any of them reads a page headed Birmingham as being about them. Four short pages beat one that claims everything.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
Tap to ring, top of the screen, nothing in front of it.
A form that asks size, access and timescale before it asks anything else.
Room for your Gas Safe number where a homeowner looks for it.
Written by symptom, because that is how it gets searched.
The small jobs that fill a quiet week and come back bigger.
A different buyer, a different page, and repeat money.
Is the water off right now?
One question, at the top, before anything else. It sorts an emergency from a quote in a second.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
The B postcode area runs to 79 districts across fifteen post towns, and only B1–B21, B23–B38, B40 and B42–B45 are addressed to BIRMINGHAM. Sutton Coldfield (B72–B76), Solihull (B90–B94), West Bromwich (B70–B71) and Halesowen (B62–B63) are separate post towns inside the same letter.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Birmingham and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for plumbers who do.
